After one too many drinks slid off tray tables mid-flight—and watching it happen to others—I realized something simple: there wasn’t a real solution.

So, I built one.

What began in 2011 as a DIY experiment turned into years of sketching, refining, and reworking — whenever time allowed. It became something I couldn’t let go of—even through setbacks and pauses along the way. Eventually, I came back to it with fresh focus. I brought in a mechanical engineer to bring the concept into proper 3D designs. That led to multiple rounds of professional prototyping, each version getting closer to what I had envisioned.
